The Mental Health Association in Michigan will be hosting a legislative briefing on Thursday, April 15th (tax day) in Lansing, MI. The subject will be the new federal law on mental health parity that was passed at the end of 2008. It went into effect at the beginning of this year (2010). The briefing will be held in the Mackinac Room of the House Office Building. It starts at 8:30am.
